YTK Pro v1.0 Build 300 Released!

This new beta build, YTK Pro beta build 300, is a maintenance build that fixes the voice lag protection 'bug' where user's voices can breakup badly when the option is enabled (After TCP for voice is checked under Anti-Boot).

We've released Build 12! Not only is it still IMPOSSIBLE to lag users PROTECTED by VC Sync but we've added another great new feature....

- A bug where some users voices were breaking up has been fixed! (It was quite rare.. but we've fixed it anyways)
- VC Sync works with almost every Yahoo! Voice Conferencing Application that supports TCP Voice. These include Yahoo Messenger, Y!Mlite, Y!Haven, YahElite and even Y!TunnelPro & Y!TunnelBasic.
YTK Pro V1 Beta Build 298 released!

YTK Pro v1.0 Build 298 Release Notes:
- Improved internal code stability and performance in certain sections of the code.
- %s control character argument is no longer required in custom ignore messages.
- Yahoo! 360° Add Friend Invitations are now properly "zoned" in group management and not just silently discarded (new feature).
- A LaunchCast bug involving removing the buddy list window ad has been ironed out and 'should' work for all/most people now.
- Deny-a-Buddy images now correctly correspond to each DAB network choice when the dialog is opened (in 294 they were mixed up).
- Voice Lag Protection (VACS) shouldn't cause any breakup anymore when certain users talk on voice.
- Custom ignore messages are no longer 'forced' to lowercase lettering and now reflect your own capitalized letters.
Any previous installation of YTK Pro should be removed FIRST prior to installing the new build.
YTK Pro Builds below 290 are NO LONGER SUPPORTED!!

Auto-Gawd Mode!
YTK Pro's unique Auto-Gawd mode stops malicious attackers dead by automatically detecting their malicious activity and engaging the Gawd Mode protection routine. It is a step beyond C-Mode (like Stealth Mode in Y!TunnelPro) which can be circumvented by attacks such as Chatroom Invite bombs.
Cleaning up chat... again!
Note: I had my Auto-Gawd mode setting slid right up to 'Paranoid'.

"Adam and I have both been busy working on yet another build of YTK Pro which addresses a couple minor things that we have noticed, as well as a few others. We're also in the process of updating VC Sync to support Voice Dominance (VD) this week and correct a small issue with the protection scheme as well. The build that we release after this upcoming maintenance build of YTK Pro will definitely be a larger update because the entire graphical user interface (GUI) is going to be completely redesigned for a more polished look allowing users to have a more user-friendly experience. Be on the look out for great things in the nearby future! We'll keep you posted on official/expected release dates for both our current software products."
This is something serious to look forward to. The protection routines are fine-tuned... now it's time to shine!

YTK Pro v1.0 Build 294 Release Notes:
- Improved internal code stability in various places.
- Gawd Mode Anti-Boot protection scheme has no been added back!
- The most advanced Gawd Mode Auto-Triggering System ever created has been added.
- An enormous amount of stability checks and code "cleanup" has been done for much better stability.
Gawd Mode Features & Usage:
With Gawd Mode you can currently (at this point) do the following:
- You can send out Private Messages
- You can send out Chat Messages (including "Now Playing" music broadcasts and custom Ignore Messages)
- You can use the chat slash commands /leet, /ver, /sysinf and /uptime when in Gawd Mode in chat rooms
- You can View Cams and Broadcast your own Webcam
- You can participate in Voice Chat
- /Gawd and /Ungawd manual activation and deactivation is still present for you
Additions:
- Added 2 new chat room slash commands /stop and /go for Auto-Gawd Mode Overriding. The command /stop turns autoing OFF (waits until the duration is over) and /go turns it ON.
- Two trackbar settings for sensitivity have been added - Normal and Paranoid. Normal takes at least 3 chat invitations per second (from a non-buddy / non-safe list user) to be considered a "flood" and will kick into gawd mode auto-triggering immediately within that second of time. Paranoid takes only a single chat invitation (from a non-buddy / non-safe list user) and will instantly fire off the gawd packet automatically to protect you as quickly as possible from being potentially disconnected from chat invitation flooding.

A new build of YTK Pro (yet another since 290) is set to be released within the next 24-48 hours. The reason for the delay is the "clean up" code that has to handle user's tampering with features that can disconnect you when using Gawd Mode (Yes, it's BACK!). Gawd Mode & Gawd Mode Auto-Triggering are already both implemented (as mentioned in an earlier post) into the new build and are completely done. It's just time to clean up a bit and the build will be released.
As for VC Sync... due to the recent Yahoo! server changes that's set us back a little bit but Voice Dominance is still definitely coming. Our Voice Dominance method will be conformationally correct which will take a bit more time to test but rest assured it's already in alpha stages being tested this very moment. It is due out soon too. This week will be a very busy one (with updates and real life appoinments and plans) so there's no range of time for promising when the next build of VC Sync will be out, just know that it will come.

YTK Pro presents 'The Return Of Gawd Mode'

Gawd Mode is a protection routine in YTK Pro which allows the user to deflect chatroom attacks such as floods and other chatroom based exploits. It is additional to the Flood Deflection/Stealth Mode/ C-Mode protection routine which was discovered thanks to the excellent and quality research of Craig Capel, Author of Y!Mlite. In the latest build we removed Gawd Mode for compatibility reasons to do with Yahoo! Server updates. Now, a workaround has been discovered and an enhanced version of Gawd Mode is to make a quick return to YTK Pro. The programmers at Torseq Tech. have implemented an auto-triggering mechanism. YTK Pro reacts to flood-like activity and immediately engages Gawd Mode to provide optimal protection to deflect an attack. Now, YTK Pro customers get all the protection of Gawd Mode without the restrictions that come with this level of protection.
So, we at Torseq Technologies are proud to announce the rapid return of 'Gawd Mode' - the highest level protection offered by any Yahoo! Messenger Companion/Add-on ever!

This beta build of YTK Pro corrects some major incompatibility issues with the new Yahoo! server 'updates' (all the disconnections people were noticing) as well as other bugs that were found.
YTK Pro v1.0 Build 290 Release Notes:
* Copyright correction (2005-2007) in About dialog and Credits window.
* TCP voice forcing uses alternative method identical to VC Sync 1.0.0.8's method now.
* Splash screen now alternates between 2 images at random, 1 is partially transparent.
* Multiple TTS (Text-To-Speech) bugs were fixed.
o Some tattoos were still being read.
o In some cases lines of chat room text were being repeated over and over by the engine.
o TTS was limited to chat room users only and safe-listees and buddy's text were not being read.
o Stripped extended characters and non-printable chars (if they exist) because sometimes the speaker would interpret them.
* Adjusted "Smart Cloaking" feature to uncloak more reliably when exiting chat rooms.
* Fixed multiple recent Yahoo! server change incompatibilities in YTK Pro that caused frequent disconnections (updated YTK-generated packets).
* Keep-Alive registry cleanup code implemented when YTK Pro exits.
* Protocol Reversion cleanup code implemented when YTK Pro exits.
* "Idle Status Spoofing" when in C-Mode could cause disconnections.
* Yahoo! 360 Invitations are now silently discarded until they're properly "zoned" (next build).
* Chat room window check is now done to avoid TTS speaking text after you've closed your chat room window

A security vulnerability has been discovered in Yahoo! Messenger versions less than version 8.1.0.401 We fully support this latest build already so there is no reason for our customers not to upgrade right away! Please see this announcement.
