Yahoo Messenger 8.1.0.413 has been released

As soon as we know what changes have been made and it's tested we'll let you know in the forum (and on here shortly afterwards)
YTK Pro V1 Beta Build 306 has been released!
YTK Pro V1 Beta Build 304 has been released!
YTK Pro, since its initial public inception, has had 2 software applications clash with it which we consider to be incompatible with our software. I'm pleased to announce that I have finalized a new revision of vHook.dll that thus eliminates such potential incompatibilities and more importantly does so application independently (generically). What does that mean exactly? It means that YTK Pro should be compatible with even the most fierce of firewalls and/or AV software from this point forward and any past software that we have deemed incompatible are now compatible and will function properly in unison together. BitDefender and Kerio Firewall have already been tested against this newly offered alpha mode, the results were stellar of course and all worked seamlessly. These are the 2 "confirmed" software applications that are currently considered officially incompatible with YTK Pro.
Again, this is merely an alpha of the firewall friendly bypass and it will be dubbed Firewall Compatibility Mode (FCM). Anyone who is NOT experiencing issues with incompatible software and YTK Pro should avoid setting this new, extended mode. Since we are literally working around another company's code in order to fix "Their" mess we anticipate the possibility of potential hang-ups during this alpha phase. Hopefully this will not be the case however as it has been tested by many of our staff members and we've all had superb results. This should make MANY people happy!
YTK Pro V1 Beta Build 302 has been released!
- A bug with chat room bruteforcing not stopping if you signed out and back in has been fixed.
- A bug to where the Recent Rooms List window might not have been created and populated has been fixed.
- All of the Sys Tray Icons have been replaced with nicer custom ones (thanks Venom/Mike & staff!) to reflect each connection state and mode.
- Gray means you're not connected, orange means you are connected, blue means you're in C-Mode (flood deflection), red means you're in Gawd Mode and a flickering yellow with a blue message icon means you have a blocked private message waiting to be viewed (or cleared).
"Zoning" of TTS (Text-to-Speech) is now an option so if you're using TTS you don't have to hear the entire room but can now selectively hear which group(s) you wish.

VC Sync and Voice Dominance
Just a quick note about the VC Dominance feature in VC Sync. We need to reiterate that this feature IS experimental and NOT officially supported by our Support Forum staff. Whilst we endeavor to ensure that everyone can use the feature as much as possible we must advise that due to it's nature it is still in a testing phase. If your reason for purchasing VC Sync is purely based on our inclusion of the VC Dominance feature then we believe that this is important to know this before hand.
Saying this, if your reason for purchasing VC Sync is to protect yourself from the effects of Voice Lag then there is simply nothing better. The VC Sync VAC's (Voice Auto Correction) System is still the best of breed solution.

Security Update for Vista Users
Sarah Bacon writes on Yahoo! Messenger Blog...
"Recently, we blogged about a security update for our Yahoo! Messenger for Windows (8.1) users. Due to restrictions with the Windows Vista operating system, we were unable to push the update out to our Vista users on Yahoo! Messenger 8.1. We encourage all Yahoo! Messenger 8.1 users running Windows Vista to download and install this security patch, available at http://messenger.yahoo.com/updater.php. The updater page also includes information on how to check your version of Yahoo! Messenger. If you’re on Yahoo! Messenger version 8.1.0.401 or higher, you don’t need to install this additional patch.
We suggest any Windows Vista users head this advice by applying this update.
Be safe!
