Torseq Technologies confirms that Yahoo! Inc. has pushed out the patch to fix the vulnerability in YMSG protocol which was being exploited in the form of a Broadcast Denial of Service attack aka 'Room Boot'.

The technology which will eliminate certain types of Spam will be transparent to the user with the only evidence of its operation being the bots disappearing before your very eyes.
